Yin and Tonic Acupuncture is an urban oasis located in the heart of New York City's Garment District. We offer a variety of services for our patients including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, private yoga instruction and more. Our practitioners see only two patients per hour to insure that we deliver the most comprehensive and personalized treatment available in New York. We are open Monday through Friday from 12 to 8 with flexible hours as well as weekends and Holidays by appointment. We are pround to offer onsite acupuncture at Continuum Reproductive Center and St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital.

At Yin and Tonic Acupuncture we believe that healthcare practitioners can be clinically excellent as well as warm and personable. We invite you to come in to our office, have a cup of herbal tea, read a juicy book on mindfulness and relax. Victoria Koos is the clinical director of Yin and Tonic Acupuncture PC. In addition to her private practice She has lectured around the country teaching acupuncturists and other medical professionals how to treat infertility through acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle changes. Victoria is currently spearheading a team practicing acupuncture for patients undergoing IVF transfer at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. She also has clinical experience practicing acupuncture at Saint Vincent's Hospital and the Hospital for Joint Disease. Victoria completed a rigorous four year Masters in Science and Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York and graduated at the top of her class.

Erin Telford, L.Ac., MSTOM

Erin Telford, L.Ac., MSTOMErin Telford holds a Masters of Science degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City-a rigorous four-year program that included acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, Western disease diagnosis, and treatment of over 300 patients. She is a licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist and is trained in Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™.

Erin believes in the powerful healing dynamic between patient and practitioner and the body's innate ability to move towards balance. She uses a blend of traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 Element techniques to gently bring patients into harmony within their body, mind and spirit. Erin believes her role as a practitioner is to nourish life and relieve suffering of the body as well as the heart.

Susan Wallmeyer, L.Ac MSTOM

Susan Wallmeyer earned her Masters of Science from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, a four year program where she completed over 3,400 hours of study of acupuncture, Chinese herbology, eastern nutrition and related therapeutic modalities, with a substantial portion of studies devoted to western medicine. Susan's undergraduate degree in Pre-Medicine Biology as well as years of laboratory research experience enable her to blend eastern and western mentalities, providing the best possible care for her patients.

Outside of general practice, Susan has clinical experience providing palliative care to patients at San Diego Hospice and to women with disabilities at New York University's Hospital for Joint Diseases. Susan is thrilled to have found a career which enables her to integrate patients' eastern and western medical needs. She has spent many hours mentoring under leaders in the field of Traditional Chinese medicine but is a firm believer that her patients are the most valuable teachers.

Rachel Esquilin, L.A.c MSTOM

Rachel Esquilin holds a Master of Science degree from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, where she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has extensive training in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine as well as clinical experience providing in-patient and out-patient acupuncture services in several N.Y. hospital settings including St. John's Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital and New York University's Hospital for Joint Diseases. In addition to her private practice and work with Yin and Tonic, Rachel participates in several community based acupuncture projects providing acupuncture to disadvantaged communities both locally and nationally. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner and has studied various methods of energy-based healing.

Prior to her practice in Chinese Medicine, Rachel's strong commitment to women's health propelled her work in medical advocacy, legal advocacy, health education and counseling around issues affecting women's reproductive, physical, mental and emotional health. She has worked in hospitals, law firms and non-profit agencies, as well as participated in numerous conferences addressing these issues. The practice of Chinese medicine has enabled her to utilize incredible healing modalities to further her commitment to women's reproductive health and wellbeing.
